Hi World,

I made a presentation to a graduate course here at the U of C last night about blogs. It was really fun. My audience were students in the M.Ed. TESL program here at the University of Calgary, and asked a lot of great questions after my presentation. I think I learned something last night too. The best part of last night though was that I was able to show off my students' blogs. Everyone I meet always tells me how great my students' blogs are. Keep up the good work you guys! The whole world is admiring you!

Well this is a large comment.

I want to congratulate you, Scott.
You're a great teacher. Just seeing your Blogger's Profile Photo i realized about that...
Your students learn english the best way they can do: USING IT. They must face their "fears" and communicate with other ppl using english as language. And when other (unknown) ppl read & comment their posts, it's a incentive. This feedback raises your students interest about learning english.
I know 2 enligsh teachers here, and i recommended your blog (and strategy) to help them with their teaching.
Also seems you have a friend-like relationship with your students. This is very good! I remember my teachers were "sacred". I had only 2 or 3 cool teachers. (Well, in uni i had lot of cool profs).
Dunno why, but you make me remember "Patch" Adams... ;P
The world needs more ppl like you.

And your students... they rule! hahaha
They all are diff from each other, so they blogs are diff too.

For your students:
Hey guys, don't be ashamed or afraid of speaking and writing in english!
Look at me, my english knowledge is very poor, but i can communicate with you. Maybe your syntax & spelling have errors... don't matter. This can be solved studying, reading, writing, talking, hearing, watching movies...
I can understand you.
Keep up the blogging!

You all have a friend here in South America(*)!!! Cheers!!!

(*) Me ... hahahaha
