One of my favourite poems

Dreams

by Langston Hughes

Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.

we really need dreams... to release our pain... in this cruel world...

Nice poem. I agree with the meaning of poem that life without dream is boring.

Langston Hughes was a master. I love his poems. My favorite is "Black Like Me".
